Why Donate to COBFC

The Colorado Breastfeeding Coalition is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization run entirely by volunteers.

We rely upon the generosity of our members and supporters to help us provide breastfeeding resources and education to families, health care professionals, employers, child care providers and policy makers.

Your donation dollars help us to…

• host the annual Breastival to provide a fun, free event to support and link families to breastfeeding resources;
• host the annual Networking Brunch and biennial Colorado Breastfeeding Conference to provide breastfeeding education and networking opportunities to local lactation professionals;
• host and organize the annual Breastfeeding Day at the Colorado Rockies to raise awareness and help make breastfeeding the norm;
• advocate for breastfeeding policies and legislation to improve support for breastfeeding families;
• support local breastfeeding coalitions and others in the community to provide individual training and support to healthcare providers, employers, and child care providers in becoming breastfeeding-friendly, including providing mini-grants;
• develop information handouts and resources, host COBFC meetings, assist hospitals in becoming Baby-Friendly designated, and participate in community events and conferences
